Creative Designer & Developer specializing in Visual & Web Design, and Front-End.
Open to work — hello@ryodgie.com
An open index of my web builds, UI concepts, and editorial layouts. This is a space for all the work — from raw concepts to finished work.
Just breaking grids, testing typefaces, building concepts, and experimenting out in the open.

I'm Ryodgie ( ree-yoh-jee ). It rhymes with nothing.
Front-end designer and developer. I chase editorial layouts, typefaces, and grids that actually hold, then go build the thing in Astro, React, or Vue. Sometimes I wander into the backend to see where the data's coming from, or poke at AI tools and lose an afternoon.
I can't look at a menu, a poster or a badly kerned shopfront without rebuilding it in my head. This has been happening since long before anyone paid me for it. Most of the work on this page comes from exactly that — no client, no brief, no one telling me the logo should be bigger. Just things I wanted to see exist.
I got here sideways. I spent a decade in customer experience for major publications like Tribune Publishing and the Los Angeles Times. Eventually, I made the pivot—doing front-end at MC2, then visual design for AI training models at Wirestock. Different rooms, same instinct — noticing when something's off and wanting to fix it.
I make things nobody asked for. Ask me for something — hello@ryodgie.com
